Diane Kruger, victim of a family curse in ‘Fly Me to the Moon’

Diane Kruger has accustomed us to seeing her in dramatic, historical and even action films… but not in comedy. It has been the tragic Helen of Troy and also Marie Antoinette. She has formed a powerful international spy alliance with Penelope Cruz, Jessica Chastain and Lupita Nyong’o. She is completely different from me, but I have a soft spot for the character because I know people who look like her!

Dany Boon, a guarantee of success

Diane Kruger couldn’t have a better partner for her comedy debut than Dany Boon. “Since I saw her in Feliz Navidad I knew she had a very funny side, but it has been a revelation. It is her first comedy and she trusted the team from the first moment. She is a very simple, approachable woman. We make a good comic couple!” The fame of this comedian, actor, director and screenwriter (although in Take me to the moon is content to be the protagonist) crossed borders with Welcome to the Northa box office hit in France that was also a hit in Spain and ended up with an Italian remake. Bad luck on set: a scorpion, a lion and an accident

The German had more than one unpleasant surprise during the filming in Kenyaone of the film’s locations. Despite sharing the stage with a lionthe worst happened behind the scenes. They couldn’t call anyone: There was no coverage. “We had to walk for a long time before we found someone,” explained Diane Kruger.
