The Municipality of Aegialia, in co-organization with the Region of Western Greece, and the Local Community of Diakopto, is organizing a concert with Violeta Ikari on Sunday 11/2024-2024 at 21:30 at the Port of Diakopto.
Admission will be free (there will be parking at Diakopto General High School).

Violeta Ikari in a musical performance that reminds us of our common roots and love of folk song. From the timeless folk gems of the great creators to his songs now mixed with the favorite moments of her personal discography.

Violeta Ikari was born and raised in Ikaria. He started singing from very small traditional Ikarian festivals. He has taken vocal and European music lessons, studied Byzantine music, writes lyrics and music, while he has sung alongside favorite artists such as: Dionysis Savvopoulos, Yiannis Kotsiras, Dionysis Tsaknis, Nikos Ziogalas, Yiannis Miliokas, Psarantonis, etc. in well-known music stages and theaters of Greece and Cyprus.
Violeta Ikari is undoubtedly one of the most accomplished performers of her generation.
With her first album in 2017 “Come and Crack My World” she introduced herself to the general public and was embraced by the world.
In 2022 WalnutEntertainment will release her album “Orange”, 11 songs, 11 stories that could stand alone. One could describe it as a complete cycle of songs with a beginning, middle and end.
Violeta Ikari with her charismatic voice is back on record with her new song titled “Butterflies” with lyrics and music by Irini Psimitis.
In the context of the “Cultural Summer 2024” events of the Municipality of Aegialia and the Deputy Mayor of Culture and Sports.
