Blizzard prepares for the arrival of Diablo IV in 2023 but before that it will allow a group of players to test the game in a closed beta that will start early next year and will be compatible with all gaming platforms.
The closed beta in which Blizzard works will give participants the opportunity to access endgame content. The developer explains in a statement in your blog that they don’t want to spoil anyone’s story of Lilith’s return to Sanctuary, and so they will agree to a later Sanctuary.
With it, in addition, they seek to gather the comments of the participants, with the aim that the end of the game “feel satisfying“, and contains enough variety of challenges to experience “many demon-slaying game sessions.”
These comments will be collected from guest group that you will select and that you will be able to join the closed beta in early 2023, which will be played in terms of confidentialityand it will be available for PC, Xbox One and Series X/S and PlayStation 4 and 5, with support available for cross-play and cross-progress.
In the beta, players will be able to experience the new Helltide event, the new Nightmare difficulty, the Whisper of the Dead system, and the Fields of Hate.
