No pun intended, Diablo Immortal is a game that really comes back from the dead. Hated by the public at BlizzCon 2018 – then by Internet users around the world -, Blizzard’s free-to-play has managed to convince players slowly but surely, thanks to its increasingly convincing test phases. WHAT IS DIABLO IMMORTAL? WHAT IS ITS RELEASE DATE?
We start with the most important: Diablo Immortal will be available on June 2, 2022 on iOS, Android and PC (initially in open beta for this last support). Even on your computer, it will therefore be a game intended for mobile support, created to deliver short but intense gaming sessions with an interface designed for iOS and Android. WHAT IS CHANGED COMPARED TO A CLASSIC DIABLO?
With the choice of mobile and free-to-play, Diablo Immortal of course makes some adjustments to the basic formula. HOW MANY CLASSES ARE THERE IN THE GAME?

A FREE-TO-PLAY OR PAY-TO-WIN GAME?
Obviously, with the free-to-play model, Diablo Immortal includes a store where the player can spend real money and access various bonuses. According to different previews, this aspect will not overly impact your progress, at least not if you only want to enjoy the main adventure and its side activities. For those who want to go further, like unlocking the most powerful builds, it will probably be another matter. Because the shop allows in particular to buy keys to open the faults that we mentioned earlier. Of course, this is where the most powerful items are. And the same in the paid version of the Battle Pass. The game thus has a little air of pay-to-win in the PvP phases.
IS IT POSSIBLE TO PLAY MULTIPLAYER IN DIABLO IMMORTAL?
We were talking regarding it just now: Diablo Immortal will give pride of place to PvP thanks to the Sanctuary, a sacred place where the Shadow Faction must ensure that Immortal status does not fall into the wrong hands. Beyond getting on the face, there is also a raid system, called The Infernal Reliquary, which will accommodate up to eight players in cooperation, at least for now.
