With Diablo IV, microtransactions appeared; and with them including skins. Except that it is quite possible to get mount armor and horse saddle skins for free. We explain the different methods to achieve this in this article!
Mount Armor in PvP
You will see in the rest of this article that many mount skins will require luck, but this is not the case for the ones we are going to present to you here. Indeed, if you walk around the PvP area of Diablo IV, you will get a new currency, red dust.
When you arrive in the cities of these two zones, you will then have different shops where you can spend it, especially once morest mount skins. In total, these are 6 skins that you will be able to unlock, knowing that the cheapest cost 40,000 red dust and the most expensive, 85,000.
Defeat World Bosses and walk away with mount armor
The other way to get your hands on a mount skin via an endgame activity is to fight once morest World Bosses. At the end of the fight, they drop many rewards and it is among the latter that you can get your hands on two mount skins.
Indeed, each time you beat Ashava or Avarice, you have a small chance of getting a mount skin. Finally, it should be noted that each skin is linked to a particular boss: so don’t expect to have both on the same boss. For the moment, Vagabonde Death does not seem to drop mount armor.
Regional mount skins
In addition to the World Bosses, be aware that any enemy will be able to give you mount armor as loot! Indeed, the probabilities are low, but it is possible to recover these armors anywhere and especially anytime.
In total, there are 20 different armors that you will be able to collect. Be aware that some of these armors are going to have specific spawn areas. Typically, the armor you see in the image below is only available on creatures in the Broken Peaks.
Achievement mount armor
There is one last way to get mount armor skins in Diablo 4. To do this, you will have to complete certain in-game achievements. The drop is guaranteed, but we will have to roll up our sleeves to come to the end of these achievements.
Indeed, you will have to for example reach level 50 with each class in the game, in Hardcore mode. It is therefore mount armor that will be quite rare. In total, you can get 3 armor skins this way.
