A Diablo 4 player recently died in the game and it respawns in an unexpected and inconvenient location. Diablo 4 has garnered rave reviews since its release, cementing its position as one of the highest rated games of the year. But even though Diablo 4 garnered mostly positive reviews from fans and critics alike, Blizzard’s mega-RPG wasn’t without criticism. There are some players who disagree with Diablo 4’s end-game content, while others aren’t happy with how the seasonal content is handled. Still others complain regarding technical issues with the game. While Diablo 4 is a very polished experience overall, it still has some bugs that need to be fixed. Related: Diablo 4 players want to remove one status effect from the game One bug affecting some Diablo 4 players sees them die in a dungeon and then respawn behind a locked door. This is what happened to Reddit user rethoyjk who found himself behind a locked door following dying in one of Diablo 4’s dungeons. While this might sound helpful on paper, in reality Diablo 4 can keep players from completing dungeons properly, as reported by some of the users who commented on the post. Diablo 4 dungeons have distinct objectives that players need to complete if they hope to finish them. More often than not, Diablo 4 dungeons have locked doors that players have to get through. If players exceed this objective by respawning behind a closed door, they will not be able to complete the objective. This, in turn, prevents them from completing the objective followingwards, effectively making it so that they cannot complete the dungeon. This isn’t the only Diablo 4 glitch preventing players from completing content in the game, but luckily there appears to be a way to fix the problem. If any Diablo 4 players run into this problem, their best bet is to open the map, tap on the dungeon entrance, and choose to leave. They should then be able to re-enter and complete the dungeon as normal, barring any other unforeseen issues. This isn’t quite ideal as it means walking back through the dungeon, some of which can be rather big, but it’s better than losing one’s progress entirely. This fix must be done in order for Blizzard to release a Diablo 4 update that addresses the root of the problem. Blizzard hasn’t confirmed any concrete plans to fix this issue, but fans can count on Diablo 4 receiving new updates on a regular basis. Diablo 4 is a live service game with years of seasonal content planned, so hopefully the many updates that have been released for the game will fix some of its lingering issues. Diablo 4 is now out for PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. More: Diablo 4: Damage Buckets Explained
