Diablo 4, 1.7 million people lost to the Butcher

After two rounds of open beta, how many gamers played Diablo 4?

Today (31st), Blizzard released the main record indicators of Diablo 4 Open Beta through its official Twitter. The indicator records 9 figures, including total play time, and lets you see how much gamers have achieved in 6 days in the world of Diablo.

First of all, this open beta recorded regarding 61.56 million hours of play over 6 days. In the process, 46.92 million deaths occurred and 29.2 billion monsters were defeated. The Butcher who achieved perfect attendance throughout the series died 570,000 times, but succeeded in defeating more than 1.7 million players.

The field boss monster Ashaba, the final content of the open beta and the first appearance in the series, showed strength worthy of its dignity. Ashaba’s kill count is just over 100,000, but more than 10 million players have died a cold death. Only one player was able to defeat such a powerful Ashaba alone.

On the other hand, during the open beta period, the most played occupations were Elementalist and Necromancer. Elemental Sorcerer showed the most stable balance among all jobs, befitting the nickname of Blizzard’s daughter, and Necromancer was able to enjoy it from the second server opening, but it quickly gained popularity with its powerful damage and cool appearance, led by Corpse Explosion.

Diablo 4 will be officially released on June 6, 2023, and can be enjoyed on PC, PS, and Xbox platforms. More information regarding the game can be found on the official website.
