This Thursday, April 7, the draw for the group stage of the Copa América Femenina Colombia 2022 was held. The election took place at the Conmebol headquarters in the city of Asunción, Paraguay.
The eleventh Venezuelan remained in Group B, accompanied by: Peru, Argentina, Uruguay and Brazil.
At the same time, Group A is made up of Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay and Bolivia.

It is expected that in the group stage the teams will face a match. Meanwhile the opening match will be between the hosts, Colombia vs. Paraguay.
The selections tournament gives three direct places to the Women’s World Cup which will be played in New Zealand and Australia in 2023. There will also be two teams (fourth and fifth in the final phase) that qualify for the playoffs.
For their part, forward Deyna Castellano and midfielder Kika Moreno wrote on the social network Twitter and expressed their excitement for the start of the Cup.
