In support of DEWA’s directives aimed at empowering its female staff, the DEWA Women’s Committee organized a number of field visits to the authority’s various branches with the aim of meeting female employees and introducing new committee members, informing female employees of the committee’s activities during the past year and discussing plans for the current year.
The visits also included a number of brainstorming sessions, in which more than 300 female employees from various sectors participated. The committee listened to the employees’ suggestions, opinions and ideas to adopt and integrate them into the committee’s projects and initiatives to reach the best results that serve the Authority’s female employees.
Fatima Muhammad Al Joker, Chair of the Authority’s Women’s Committee, confirmed that the committee’s meetings with female employees come within the directives of the Authority’s senior management that the committee be an important and effective communication tool with the Authority’s female employees to find out their aspirations and aspirations, as well as listen to their opinions and ideas while committing to providing them with the necessary support to unleash For their talents and abilities to innovate and create, and to create opportunities and capabilities that help female employees, regardless of their positions and responsibilities, to succeed and develop.
For her part, Aisha Al-Assam, Vice-Chairman of the Women’s Committee, indicated that field visits to female employees at their workplaces are an essential source of the plans of the Women’s Committee, within the framework of the Committee’s keenness to meet directly with female employees to learn about their development proposals and aspirations, which will reflect positively on the programs and activities organized by the Committee on throughout the year.
