Dr. Mona Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra, the daughter of the able artist, revealed the developments in her father’s health condition, asking the public to pray for him.
Mona Abdel Rahman said, in a telephone interview with the “A Final Word” program, broadcast on the Egyptian “ON E” satellite channel: “The past week, a minor accident occurred at home, and he walked and walked normally following that, and it was fine, but following examining it, it was confirmed that he had a fracture in the pelvis, and following examining him By a neurologist, he said he was dehydrated… Indeed, he preferred a week to refuse to drink water.
She added that her father’s condition deteriorated and he was transferred to the hospital following refusing to eat for 5 days, and the hospital was forced to install food pumping devices, explaining: “He is not aware of what is around him, and he does not communicate well with them and does not talk to those around him.”
And regarding the possibility of conducting a surgical intervention to treat a pelvic fracture, she said: “It is supposed to be an operation, but his condition is still not stable, and it is possible that anesthesia affects him, and therefore he needs to recover a little and eat food in order to determine the surgical intervention, which will be when,” asking his audience to pray.
In the context, the musician Ahmed Abu Zahra spoke regarding the latest health developments of his father, the artist Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra, saying: “The condition is not reassuring for the artist Abdel Rahman Abu Zahra, and there is no improvement.”
He added, during a telephone interview with the journalist Youssef Al-Husseini on the “Ninth” program broadcast on the Egyptian Channel One: “I took some solutions when he went to the hospital, and he started responding to us and we spoke simple words, but now the situation is deteriorating and may God heal him, and the issue is not clear at all from the case from the doctors.” “.
He continued, “When my sister and I go to talk to him, the most necessary thing is to shake his head when we talk to him.”
The artist, Abdul Rahman Abu Zahra, graduated from the Institute of Dramatic Arts in 1958 following obtaining a Bachelor’s degree from the Institute, and worked as an employee in the Ministry of War, then was appointed as an actor in the National Theater in 1959.
Abd al-Rahman Abu Zahra presented his first theatrical work in the play “The Return of Youth” by Tawfiq al-Hakim. Honored at the 3rd National Festival of Professional Theater in Algeria in May 2008.
