Devastating Dip: Ex-Sheffield United Star’s Life Cut Short in Tragic Swimming Pool Accident

The English footballer George Baldockof the Panathinaikos Greek, was found dead this Wednesday in his home in Athensaccording to Greek radio station SKAI. The lifeless body of the 31-year-old defender was found in the pool of his home, located in the Glifada neighborhood of the Greek capital, according to the same source.

So far the cause of his death is unknown and for now there is no official statement from his family. Born in Buckingham, EnglandBaldock was international with the national team Greecesince one of his grandparents was Greek, so he had the right to wear the shirt of this country.

He began his career in the lower categories of the Milton Keyne Dons and he was a footballer Sheffield United English from 2017 until last May, when he was signed by Panathinaikos. This season he suffered an injury in mid-August and played a total of 214 minutes over four games.

Their last official match was on October 6 at home against Olympiakoswhere he played almost the entire game that his team tied.
