A nine-year-old boy was seriously injured in an accident. He was cycling with his family to the “Airpower” at around 7:55 a.m. – due to heavy traffic, the cyclists swerved onto the sidewalk. Just as a coach from Tyrol was approaching the family from Deutschlandsberg, the nine-year-old fell onto the road for unknown reasons. The 39-year-old bus driver from Kufstein was unable to stop in time.
The fully occupied coach, which was also on its way to the major event, ran over the child. Police officers who were nearby immediately administered first aid and called the ambulance.
