Two caregivers arrested for using client’s keys to steal credit cards

Mossos d’Esquadra at Martorell Police Station Spain They arrested two women, aged 56 and 60, who were accused of stealing credit cards from people they cared for. The incident occurred on Friday (26th), and the detainee took advantage of the opportunity to enter the victim’s home to commit the crime.

In the first case, a 60-year-old woman used the credit card of one of the victims to refund 800 euros at a bank in Abreira. In the second case, a 56-year-old woman made four withdrawals totaling €900 at a branch in Sant Andreu de la Barca, also using the credit card of someone she cared for.

The detainees were identified through recordings from security cameras at banking entities, allowing investigators to link them to alleged perpetrators of fraud crimes. In total, the women stole €1,700.
