Determined to defeat India in the big match of the Asia Cup: Babar Azam

Babar Azam took 72 balls to score 50 runs but scored a century off 109 balls. Later he batted in T20 fashion and scored 51 runs off the next 22 balls.

“When I went, the ball wasn’t coming in properly, so I was trying to build an innings with Rizwan,” explained Babar Azam.

“Iftikhar Ahmed also played a good innings and when he came in, I asked him to play his neutral game and he was calm following hitting two or three fours,” he said.

It may be noted that the national team will now fly to Pali to face the Indian team as India refused to travel to Pakistan due to strained political relations.
