Detective hired by the McCanns and the police rule out that the young Polish woman is Madeleine

A private detective hired by the McCanns as the London Metropolitan Police claimed that the young Polish girl Julia Faustyna and Madeleine, the British girl who disappeared in Portugal in 2007, are not the same person following resorting to techniques such as biometric testing and robot aging.

Francisco Marco is a private investigator and owner of the Method 3 agency, which for a time led the investigation into Madeleine’s disappearance on behalf of Kate and Gerry McCann, the parents of the girl whose disappearance constitutes one of the most mysterious cases in the last decades.

The biological family of the girl who claims to be Madeleine McCann would have refused to do a DNA test

Asked regarding Julia’s story, the detective was skeptical regarding the possibility that it is the missing girl. “Without knowing the details in depth, it doesn’t add up to me. I don’t think it’s her“, he commented in dialogue with The Independent.

Despite his doubts, the man decided to carry out a series of biometric tests between the photos of Julia and the images of Madeleine. In this regard, he concluded that the features of the young Polish girl do not match those of the British girl. “I have carried out a biometric investigation and there are no similarities with the features of the Madeleine”explained to RAC1 version.

Although his analysis did not turn out to be favorable for the version of the “Polish Madeleine”, Marco did not rule out that the woman’s story may be true. “I may think it’s a fraud, but I can’t say without proof”, held. However, she stressed that “this girl contacted the police and nobody paid any attention to her.”

In addition, he criticized Julia’s behavior of using the networks to contact Madeleine’s family and “raise followers”. For Marco, the first step would be to “try to contact the biological family and not the McCanns through Instagram.”

“The logical thing would be to find his family, but not look for the McCanns through the networks and increase their followers,” he stressed.

London police don’t believe Julia’s story either

Through her Instagram account (@iammadeleinemccann), Julia shares photos comparing herself to Madeleine.

In line with Marco’s position, Scotland Yard, London’s Metropolitan Police, does not consider Julia to be Madeleine. In this sense, they ensured that they have reasons not to believe the young woman’s claims and, therefore, not to carry out any DNA test. They also pointed out that his account presents numerous discrepancies.

First, and the strongest argument, is that the British authorities consider that the girl died the same day she disappeared. They are also suspicious of the age difference between Julia and Madeleine. If she were alive, the minor would be 19 years old, while the Polish woman is 21. In this regard, Faustyna explained that her family may have lied to her regarding her age.

In addition to this, they also made robot portraits, specifically of aging, to compare if the image presented by the program of what Madeleine would look like today has similarities with Julia. However, as with Marco’s biometric tests, the analysis determined that the young Polish woman is nothing like the missing girl 16 years ago.
