Detection of traditional rivals interested in Martinez

It seems that Fabio Martins, the former player of Al-Wahda (Excellents), will not continue his career in the ADNOC Professional League, as the circulating reports said.

Since last September, the Emirati newspaper, “Al-Khaleej”, broke the news of the interest of a “big club” in the competition for the services of the Portuguese player.

Al-Khaleej explained that the local club is interested in Martins because of his coach’s conviction in him, as he considers him one of the best wings with individual solutions.

However, the Greek “Hellas” website claimed that there is a race between PAOK and Olympiacos, the two poles of Greek football, to obtain Martins’ signature.

The site learned that the 29-year-old had been offered to Olympiacos since last August when he was still associated with the owners, but the coach of the team at the time, stood without completing the deal, as the player was considered “extremist” in performing offensive roles, and did not possess the characteristics that He will need it.

Hellas confirmed that Martins is back on Olympiacos’ radar.

As for PAOK, the site wrote that Al-Wahda had asked the Greek club one million euros last September to dispense with the owner of the No. 11 shirt, before he terminated his contract with him.
