Al-Marsad Newspaper: Technical expert Suleiman Al-Dalali explained the most popular ways to detect spy cameras inside hotel rooms.

He said during an interview with the “Yahla” program broadcast on the Gulf Rotana channel: “The person turns off the electricity in the room, turns on the mobile searchlight, and searches in the places where cameras are expected to be placed, and if he finds any shine, he knows that there is doubt regarding the matter, and it is confirmed if It was flashlights, alarms or spy cameras.”

He continued: “There are application programs on the mobile phone, and the mobile camera is opened, and if two types of transmissions are detected, whether video or audio, it is confirmed whether there are spy cameras or not.”

He added: “There are also small pieces such as the remote control, the price of which is 170 or 180 riyals, and if there is a certain lighting, and the device is directed towards it and a red line appears, then this means that there is a device such as an audio device, an alarm, or video recording.”
