Al-Marsad newspaper: The Criminal Court of Appeal in Jeddah approved the punishment of a citizen for a period of two years, with one year expunged from the sentence, on charges of smashing and breaking an ATM belonging to a local bank. The court decided the value of the damages at 110,000 riyals.

The security authorities had received a report of the incident, and it was found from the examination of the surveillance cameras that a person carrying a crime instrument and an incendiary substance in his hand, with a muzzle on his mouth, smashed the device and burned it, according to “Okaz.”

The police managed to apprehend the accused, and it was found that he was in his forties, and he had traces of burning in his hand.
