Sporting’s Gonçalo Inácio, 22, has for a long period been linked with a move from Portugal. It has been reported that there has been interest from several clubs, including Manchester United, Newcastle and Liverpool, but no club has yet met the buyout clause, which is 60 million euros, around 680 million Swedish kronor.
Now, however, the Portuguese newspaper Correio Da Manha reports that things may start to happen around Inácio. They believe that the centre-back is Liverpool’s primary transfer target this summer and that Sporting are prepared to start negotiations for 45 million euros, around 525 million kroner.
They further believe that Liverpool will most likely make an offer to Sporting in the near future for the 22-year-old who played 32 league games last season.
