Destruction of a camp for foreign fighters and a radar station for S-300 missiles

In the latest field developments, the Russian Defense Ministry announced the destruction of a camp for foreign fighters and a radar station for the S-300 missile system of the Ukrainian army in Mykolaiv.

In its daily statement, the ministry said that the Russian Air Force destroyed 4 ammunition depots, missile stores and command posts of the Ukrainian army in 18 regions, with high-precision missile strikes. The statement added that the air defense systems shot down 3 drones and intercepted 3 ballistic missiles in Kherson and Kharkiv.

Russian Defense Minister Sergio Shoigu said increasing the West’s supply of weapons to Ukraine would prolong the conflict. He added that the military operation in Ukraine will continue until the goals set by Putin are achieved. He added that the weapons sent by the West to Ukraine are being sold on the black market.

The reconstruction of Ukraine will cost regarding 750 billion dollars, according to the estimate of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, who called – during the Lugano Conference in Switzerland – to provide international assistance to his country for its reconstruction.

In the latest developments, the head of the Russian province of Kursk reported that border points in the Glushkovsky district of the province were subjected to new bombardment by Ukraine.

He wrote on his Telegram page: “This morning, artillery shelling began once more on border settlements in the Glushkovsky district. The shelling was recorded in the village of Markovo, and shells exploded once more in the village of Teutkino. The shelling continues. I will provide other details later.”

On Sunday, the Russian Defense Ministry said that Ukrainian forces deliberately bombed the territories of the Kursk and Belgorod regions with “Tochka-O” missiles and using Reis drones. The ministry indicated that the bombing targeted residential neighborhoods where there are no military installations.

This comes as the Russian Federal Prison Service denied information published by several media outlets regarding the detention of fighters of the Ukrainian nationalist “Azov” battalion in the “Lefortovo” prison in Moscow.
