A marijuana field with more than 1,300 plants was destroyed by the Bolivarian National Armed Forces (Fanb) in Sucre state, specifically in the Ribero municipality, whose capital is Cariaco.

This was announced by Domingo Hernández Lárez, who is in charge of the Strategic Operational Command of the Fanb on his social networks.

He pointed out that it is part of the Cacique Cayaurima operation that seeks to eradicate the presence of irregulars and also drug crops in eastern Venezuela and that it was ordered in recent days by the President of the Republic, Nicolás Maduro.

In addition to the plants, seeds and germinators were also found. Although the photographs show that there is a detained person, his identity was not reported.

“Venezuela is a territory free of endemic plantations. The full weight of the law will be applied to drug traffickers,” added the Ceofanb commander.
