Desportivo da Lunda-Sul consolidated its leadership of the National Football Championship of the I division (Girabola2023/24), following beating Wiliete de Benguela 1-0 today (Sunday), in Saurimo, in a game relating to the 15th round.
The solitary goal of the match, played at the Estádio Municipal das Mangueiras, in the city of Saurimo, Lunda-Sul province, was scored by Cuxixima, in the sixth minute.
It all resulted from a beautiful play on the right wing, in which René crossed for a good finish by Cuxixima.
Two minutes later, Betinho shot hard, but the ball hit the left post, preventing the home team from extending the result.
In response, 11 minutes into the game, the “outsiders”, through Adó Pená, responded with a great header, but the ball hit the crossbar.
