Helene Fischer injured herself on stage during a show in Hanover. The concert on Sunday evening was canceled and the German hit star left the stage bleeding. The singer went to a hospital and left it again after the treatment. She is doing “well, given the circumstances,” said the organizer Live Nation on Monday. The tour will continue as planned after the summer break.

Exactly what kind of injury the 38-year-old sustained was not made public on Monday either. Several media reported that Fischer injured his nose during an exercise on the trapeze. The performance was initially interrupted and then canceled. The 38-year-old is known for her acrobatics on and above the stage, including on the trapeze.

Videos and pictures that concertgoers shared on the Internet show how Fischer apparently collides with her partner during a trapeze exercise or hits the trapeze, and a dull thump can be heard over the microphone. Nevertheless, she can hold on as planned, still hanging in the air and obviously bleeding, Fischer continues to sing. A little later she is said to have left the stage.

According to Live Nation, the singer broke a rib during acrobatic rehearsals in March. After that, several performances had to be postponed. Fischer therefore apologized to his fans: “I hope you know how sorry I am.” Sometimes “higher powers are at work”.

Fischer was last on tour in 2018. After a baby break, she returned to the stage in 2022. According to Live Nation, the concert in Hanover was the 42nd of the concert tour that started this spring. The show in the ZAG Arena was planned as the end of the first part of the tour, after a summer break until the end of August it should continue in autumn. Fischer had developed and practiced acrobatic numbers for the shows for her album “Rausch” with experts from Cirque du Soleil.

Many spectators expressed their concern after the concert – the singer had performed on stage for about an hour before the accident. Many wished fishermen a speedy recovery. The concert organizer’s statement on Monday should have had a reassuring effect: There is “no doubt” that the artist will continue her tour after the summer break from August 25 as planned. From September 5th to 10th performances are scheduled in the Wiener Stadthalle.
