A state of ambiguity dominates the position of international goalkeeper Mohamed Abu Jabal from returning to the Egyptian club Zamalek during the summer transfer period.

In the last hours, some news emerged about the return of Muhammad Abu Jabal to the ranks of Zamalek in the coming period, especially after the statements of Mortada Mansour, the club’s president, in which he opened the way for the player’s return after he personally apologized to him.
Mortada Mansour said in televised statements: “Muhammad Abu Jabal asked to return to the team’s ranks, apologize to the public, and his position is postponed until the victory of the league title is resolved.”
He added: “The fate of Abu Jabal’s return is decided in the hands of coach Josevaldo Ferreira. There is no dispute between them, and if the Portuguese coach welcomes Abu Jabal’s return, I will not refuse.”
Amir Mortada refuses to return Muhammad Abu Jabal
For his part, Amir Mortada Mansour, the supervisor of the football team in Zamalek, rejected the return of Muhammad Abu Jabal to the team’s ranks next season, considering that this was not an appropriate option.
Amir said in televised statements: “The issue is closed. Muhammad Abu Jabal is trying to apologize to the administration and the public, but this does not mean that he will return to the team next season.”
And he added: “This is an administrative decision, Ferreira agreed to his departure at first, but he left inappropriately, and a player who does not want to play for Zamalek will not have a place in the team.”
Muhammad Abu Jabal lies to the officials of Zamalek
On the other hand, Muhammad Abu Jabal lied the statements of Zamalek officials in which they confirmed the international goalkeeper’s desire to return to the team next season.
Abu Jabal wrote through his official account on the social networking site “Twitter”: “I did not and will not offer me any official in the Zamalek club to return to my home, and everything that is said by the officials is unfounded.”
The international goalkeeper revealed the scenes of his departure in television statements, where he confirmed that Hussein Labib, the former club president, refused to renew him, and stressed that the priority was Ahmed Sayed “Zizou” and Mahmoud Hamdi “Al-Wansh”.
A new denial hits Muhammad Abu Jabal
Hussein Labib responded to Abu Jabal’s statements in messages published by the “Remontada” program presented by Ahmed Hossam “Mido” on the Egyptian channel “Al-Mehwar”.
Labib confirmed that Zamalek had already negotiated with Abu Jabal to renew his contract last season, in addition to 5 other players, namely Zizou, Al Wench, Saif Al Jaziri, Imam Ashour and Abdullah Gomaa.
The former president of Zamalek indicated that all the players agreed to the renewal, with the exception of Abu Jabal, who requested a sum of money that exceeds the first-class players in the team, and refused the renewal.
A decisive message to Muhammad Abu Jabal
For his part, Hazem Imam, the former Zamalek star and current member of the Egyptian Football Association, expressed his rejection of the idea of Abu Jabal returning to the team next season.
Imam said that Abu Jabal asked to return to Zamalek because he did not find a strong club to play for him next season, and not because he loved the white club.
The former Zamalek captain indicated that it is difficult for the fans to accept the idea of Abu Jabal returning to the ranks of Zamalek, stressing that if he regains his position on the stadium, he will not restore it in the hearts of the fans.
