The search for four prisoners who escaped from a City Police station in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Flores continued intensely today in the surroundings and other nearby areas.

The event occurred on Saturday morning in the Neighborhood section 7C, located on Avenida Gaona at 2700.

According to the information provided by police sources, a neighbor reported that he notified the officers of the unit due to noises he heard on the roof of his house.

The uniformed officers counted the detainees who were housed in the police station cell and realized that four prisoners were missing, for which they issued the alert to 911.

The prisoners who escaped are Víctor José Pana, 18, David Ferrari, 32, Diego Guerrero, 23, and Luis Silveyra, 34.

As NA was able to find out, Guerrero was arrested on February 7 for robbery, but he already had a record for robbery on October 11 of last year.

Ferrari had an arrest warrant and was arrested on February 8 for disobedience to procedural charges, while he already had a record of September 25, 2022 for resisting authority.

Meanwhile, Silveyra was arrested on February 24 for simple possession of a weapon of war without authorization.

As it turned out, Pana was the one who first managed to escape from his dungeon by breaking a grating that was unprotected. Later, he opened other cells and the aforementioned followed him.

Once in the inner courtyard of the sectional, they climbed through some bars to the roof and fled the place.

Due to the escape of the inmates, the West Flagrancia Unit ordered the intervention of the Community Investigations Division 7. Likewise, intervention was given to professional performance and the transparency office of the Buenos Aires Ministry of Security, reported police sources.

This is not the first time something like this has happened, since last June, four detainees managed to escape from the 15A police station warden on Guzmán street in Chacarita, located on the first floor of the unit. In any case, days after the escape, all the inmates were recaptured.
