The Australian police are continuing their search to try to find a Belgian lost in Tasmania. She has not given any sign of life since June 17 and her car was found near a hiking trail. His family is very worried.

It has now been 12 days since her family has heard from her. “If you have any information regarding my sister, please notify me directly or my mom! Please share this post in mass and help us find her”, explains a message posted by the sister of the disappeared .

Céline, 31, was traveling on the island of Tasmania, just below Australia. According to the police, she was last seen near a national park, famous for its hikes.

“Ground search teams and a police drone are currently on the scene. The helicopter will also be used weather permitting,” Tasmania Police said in a message.

His car was found in a parking lot near a trail. To facilitate research, the path is now closed to the public. The vehicle is currently appraised.

“The news is not reassuring but we remain hopeful. And we are waiting for the information to fall”, notes his sister. Foreign Affairs are in contact with the family and the Belgian embassy there says it is monitoring the situation closely.
