Désiré Doué officially transferred to Paris Saint-Germain (Transfers)

This time, it’s done. Désiré Doué is a Paris Saint-Germain player until 2029. The young 19-year-old midfielder signed for the capital club for a check for 50 million euros, excluding bonuses, at Stade Rennais, a record sale for a player trained at the club. The player had hesitated between Bayern Munich and Paris but was finally won over by Luis Enrique’s speech. An international hopeful since October 2023, Désiré Doué won a silver medal at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games with France.

“I feel excitement but also a lot of happiness and pride. It’s a dream come true today.”

“It’s a great joy to join Paris Saint-Germain. I feel excitement but also a lot of happiness and pride. It’s a dream come true today. I can’t wait to discover the Parc des Princes with this jersey on my shoulders and to play in front of this crowd,” reacted the new Parisian on the PSG website.

“Désiré is one of the most exciting young stars in France and Europe, with a great desire to succeed at the highest level with PSG. We continue to build at Paris Saint-Germain an incredible team of talented young players in all positions,” said Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, the club’s president.
