With the outbreak of the Russian War in the UK, many areas, including the economic and social spheres, came to a standstill. At Paris Fashion Week, as the glamor world of fashion shone, the news was filled with the devastation wrought by war in another part of Europe. But reactions to the war rose from the fashion industry. Russian designer Valentin Yudashchik has been suspended from Paris Fashion Week in protest of his anti-war stance. There are also those who organize emotional demonstrations in honor of the Ukrainians. Now the famous American fashion designer Christian Siriano has come out in solidarity with Ukraine. Christian is set to donate the proceeds of the gown auction to Ukraine.

On Wednesday, Syriano shared a post on Instagram explaining this. The blue and yellow gown he designed was put up for auction by Siriano. The gown is blue and yellow, similar to the Ukrainian flag.

Siriano shared the information that as a designer, clothes are our voice. Siriano is the favorite designer of stars like Ariana Grante, Lady Gaga and Oprah Winfrey. Cyriano says the gown should be designed for the maximum amount possible.

Syriano says his prayers are with all those who are suffering now. Many people came in with comments under Siriano’s post. Some commented that it was hoped that some celebrities would buy this dress and wear it to the Oscars on the red carpet stage.

Syriano did not say when the auction would end. Famous fashion brands such as Burberry, Chanel, Gucci, Valentino and Louis Vuitton also came out in support of those suffering in the war.
