Deputy Veloso: “A minimum of respect”
“I find it disrespectful that they defend criminalstorturers of this country, and come and tell us that they are against crime,” he asserted.
“Please, a minimum of modesty. A modicum of respect,” she noted.
“How can they come here to continue repeating speeches and endorsing impunity for criminals?” questioned the DR.
“All those who are imprisoned in Punta Peuco, and those who remain in their homes calmly breathing air after having even been part of the robberies committed by their Generalissimo Pinochet, defend them,” he said.
“What are we talking about criminals? The criminals are not here. The only criminals are not those who use weapons. The delinquents are also the neck and cut ones, who finance their campaigns. They are also their uncles, grandparents or whoever they are who have participated in torturing parents and relatives of those who are even within this Chamber, ”he said.

The deputy’s statements provoked annoyance on the part of the Chamber, who immediately began to ask the board of directors to control the situation.
“I wish they would get upset like that when they talk about the death of a Chilean at the hands of the military simply because they think differently,” said the deputy.
“You are with the criminals, and the worst that have ever existed in this country. A little twist of humanity because I don’t know how you can get home at night to put your head on the pillow to tell your children that you are pro-life when you endorse the death of those who don’t think like you,” she highlighted.
“I have no doubt that they could do it again, they would do it again,” he said.
“It’s good that we put up with so much carrerajismo (sic) and delete it from the record if they want,” he concluded.
