In the last hours, the legislator of the Frente de Todos, Eduardo Valdés, presented a project in which he proposes that the distinction be delivered by the presidency of the Chamber, the proponent and the highest authorities of all the legislative blocks. “Messi our one”, indicated in a letter addressed to the head of the Chamber of Deputies, Cecilia Moreau. Regarding the fundamentals, the legislator highlighted “his behavior on and off the field and his professional quality”which he maintained that “it was transmitted in each gesture and in each play throughout the globe, generating an international identity with the Argentine team.”
In this regard, he stated that “The world lived an Argentine party and Argentina lived a world party”. In this regard, he considered that “the peoples of the world, who deposited their joys and hopes in the Argentine triumph, manifested themselves through different sports, political and cultural personalities, such as David Beckham, Gustavo Petro, Pelé, Roger Federer, Bad Bunny, Usain Bolt and Julia Roberts, among others”.
And he added: “The eyes of the whole planet settled on the figure of Messi. Leaders, actors and actresses, and prominent personalities from other sports reflected joy on social networks because Leonel Messi had finally been able to fulfill his dream and that of all and all: Exit world champion. The distinction “Juan Bautista Alberdi” is the highest award given by the Chamber of Deputies of the Nation. The recognition is granted to personalities or entities that stand out in cultural, scientific, political or humanistic fields and that demonstrate respect for and defense of democratic values.
