Deportiva Venados took all the loot yesterday at the “Agustín ‘Coruco’ Díaz” Stadium in Zacatepec.

A four-point victory, with a difference of two goals or more, allowed the team to move into second place in the Premier League Group 2 table, following beating the home Scorpions 3-0.

The horned team was coming off a painful defeat at home, which complicated their situation in the agonizing Serie A tournament. Therefore, they were urgent to beat the Scorpions, who were hot on their heels.

And the Yucatecans grew in a key match, also leaving with four points for winning by more than two goals difference playing as visitors.

The 1-0 was scored by Ecuadorian Santiago Micolta, sending a ball passed to him by Oswaldo Ríos into the net.
