ABU DHABI, 19th April, 2020 (WAM) — The Department of Municipalities and Transport, represented by the municipalities of the cities of Abu Dhabi, Al Ain and Al Dhafra Region, has completed its preparations to welcome Eid Al Fitr.
The teams of the municipalities of Abu Dhabi, Al-Ain and Al-Dhafra regions worked to install Eid Al-Fitr decorations panels as an additional decoration for Ramadan decorations to embody the spirituality of Eid Al-Fitr.
The main bridges and prominent infrastructure landmarks, which characterize the capital city of Abu Dhabi, have been decorated and become an integral part of its urban identity and cultural attractions.
The Eid decorations boards include a number of expressions known in the culture of the Emirati society, such as “Your Eid Mubarak”, “May you be blessed with happiness”, “May it be returned to you”, “From those who return and those who benefit”, and “From those who return and those who are safe”. Incorporating many colors in one painting to give it a luster that distinguishes it from other occasions.
It is worth noting that the Department of Municipalities and Transport has worked to ensure that the light formations and models that were installed within the Eid Al-Fitr decorations are of appropriate sizes to the dimensions and areas of the streets, to ensure the safety of road users, including cars and pedestrians.
