The Denver Nuggets defeated the Los Angeles Lakers for the third time in a row, 119-108, in the semi-finals of the American Professional Basketball Association, to become a victory away from qualifying for the final match for the first time in its history.
Canadian Jamal Murray led his team to victory by scoring 37 points, including 5 triples, and Serbian Nikola Jokic, the best player in the league twice, added 24 points, including 15 in the fourth quarter, in addition to 8 assists.
On the other hand, the Lakers star, LeBron James, scored the best scorer in the history of the league, with 23 points in addition to 12 assists.
And by trailing 0-3, the Lakers’ chances of qualifying for the final became weak, knowing that the winner in 4 matches out of 7 possible qualifies for the final match to meet the winner between the Miami Heat and Boston Celtics (2-0).
