Relics are popular with the Nuggets! The defending champion has just extended two player water carriers: DeAndre Jordan and Reggie Jackson are back in the Rockies.
They’re not flashy signings, but they can still do some service in the NBA, although players are starting to get squeaky knees. As indicated by Shams Charania, Reggie Jackson has a player option (on the second year of a $10.2 million deal) to possibly re-enter a second season. The point guard, who arrived from the Clippers a few months ago, signs at a favorable rate but will have the hand for his second year. In addition, he may have received more guarantees regarding his playing time for the coming campaign, he who did not have much of a chance in the Mile High City when he was a regular starter with the Clippers.
Regarding DeAndre Jordan, the terms of the contract are not yet known, but it should be a “dry” year. He’s the kind of guy who doesn’t make waves, accepts his role and stays professional no matter what. A good big locker room player as we like them in Denver.
