the National Football League (NFL) temporada 2023 and one of the teams that is expected to take a big leap in quality is the Denver Broncos, who following a disappointing campaignplagued by injuries and very low individual levels, they fired their head coach to seize the services of Sean Payton.
In the season 2022 the expectations for the whole of the Broncos were in the sky. The arrival of Russell Wilson reinvigorated the hopes of a dormant franchise. The reality was totally different from what was planned. Injuries to Wilson, Tim Patrick, Sutton, Jeudy, among others, played a trick on him. Added to lousy job Nathaniel Hackett didwho was fired days following defeat Christmas once morest the Rams.
In this note, the key points for the NFL season will be reviewed: their reinforcements, their losses, the attack, the defense, the calendar and a final prediction. Here, the Denver Broncos Preview, with a Russell Wilson reinvigorated by the arrival of an elite coach.

Green Bay Packers signed up for the NFL 2023
It was a Relatively quiet offseason for the Broncos if we only mention the arrival of players, because the acquisition of Sean Payton was a gigantic move. The coach came from a “sabbatical” following the end of your contract with New Orleans Saints. The offensive guru knew how to carry the last years of Drew Bress, and it is expected that he can optimize the game of Russell Wilson to achieve a similar result.
As for players, the registrations were not many. Via draft they added receiver Marvin Mims Jr with the 63rd overall pick. Plus, they bolstered the defense with Riley Moss and Drew Sanders, both third-round picks. In free agency they added Samaje Perine to complement the backfield. In addition, they took over the services of the ex-Saints Marquez Callaway. On defense, the biggest name was Frank Clark, who agreed to a one-year, $5 million deal.

Denver Broncos absent for NFL 2023
The core of the team is still intact compared to last year. Removing Bradley Chubb, who was traded to the Dolphins in the middle of last season, all the “important” players of the Broncos are still on the team. You might say that the most important casualty is Tim Patrickwho suffered a ruptured Achilles tendon and will not be in charge throughout the campaign.
Denver Broncos attack for NFL 2023
Everything is born in the Payton–Wilson connection. The Broncos really need them to work together if they want to have a respectable offense, given the lack of surplus talent at other positions. Jeudy’s injury and Tim Patrick, Sutton’s low level, the slow recovery of Javonte Williamsare all factors that weigh.
The receiving room looked good a few weeks ago, but little by little the lights went out. Jerry Jeudy suffered a muscle injury that will sideline him for several weeks, Tim Patrick will be out all season. The positive were Marvin Mims Jr’s workouts. The same thing happens in the backfield, where Javonte Williams is not yet 100% ready to be the team’s RB1. The acquisition of Perine can help a lot, both in the running game in the red zone, and in short passes.

Denver Broncos defense for NFL 2023
The Broncos’ primary concern on this side of the game is how the team will respond. sin Ejiro Evero as defensive coordinator. In addition to the fact that the talent on this side of the ball is not abundant, outside of Patrick Surtain, who little by little is establishing himself as one of the best cornerbacks in the NFL. Frank Clark, Randy Gregory, and Nik Bonitto will need to take a big step forward to put pressure on opposing quarterbacksrelying on the presence of Surtain and Justin Simmons to contain the long passes.

It’s a highly unpredictable situation because of all the volatile factors on the roster; from the arrival of a new coach, to a possible promotion of level of Russell Wilson. Even so, taking into account the team’s calendar, there are chances that they end with a 10-7 record and fight for a wild card spot.
