The Denver Broncos will kick off their 2023 NFL preseason activity in unusual fashion. Head coach Sean Payton announced that the starters will see activity in their first preseason matchup once morest the Arizona Cardinals.
“I haven’t called it yet, but they’re going to play,” Payton said following practice Saturday. “We’ll find out how many snaps. We usually divide the game into three phases and then special teams. We may only do two phases, but we have a plan.”
