With around 46 years of experience in the medical and dental equipment market, Gnatus Equipamentos Odontologistas accounted for more than 20% growth in 2022 and plans to repeat this number in 2023. With more than 2,300 customers served last year alone and a sum With 100,000 customers in more than four decades of history, the industry headquartered in Barretos, in the interior of São Paulo, operates in the national market, with average annual revenues of around R$ 80 million.
The company develops and manufactures its products, in accordance with national and international standards and legislation, in two plants and operates with personalized service in resellers, through representatives, distributors, technical assistance and branches throughout Brazil. “The central objective of our work is to respond to the needs and demands of customers who, more and more, are looking for products that add differentials to their professional practice, with safety, comfort, practicality and an attractive cost/benefit ratio”, comments Cristiano. The exchange of knowledge and the search for other innovative ideas are also on Gnatus’ radar through Open Innovation, a program to accelerate startups with business models focused on the development of dental equipment with digital technology.
The 2022 edition of the program has already generated new business with participating startups. “The internet and high technology came to revolutionize the most varied economic sectors and social aspects. Increasingly, the search for solutions that bring more security and efficiency is one of the hallmarks of our time. We work in harmony with this goal, developing products that meet current and future needs”, highlights the president and CEO of Gnatus, Alexandre Queiroz.

In the extensive list of possibilities in the digital line catalog, the industry produces equipment, such as the Sagil Conservation Chambers, designed to correctly store botulinum toxin and other thermolabile products, with adequate temperature, cell phone alarms and online monitoring portal.
There is also the Timex line of intraoral cameras, which show the patient, in real time, the image of his dental arch, being a tool for documentation and adherence to treatments.
Still in the digital line, the Panda P2 intraoral scanner offers the dentist to scan the patient’s entire arch and enter the world of 3D dentistry. As of 2023, the company began to offer the equipment rental service, enabling digital offices without the need for direct investment in equipment.
