Denon introduces its new PerL and PerL Pro in-ear headphones, for optimal and personalized sound
Denon, a global premium audio brand from Masimo with more than a century of mastery of sound engineering at the highest level, announces that the Denon PerL and PerL Pro True Wireless Wireless Earphones (TWS) are now available globally available at Denon.com and select retailers across Europe.
The Denon PerL headphones, featuring Masimo AAT (Adaptive Acoustic Technology), allow users to create a personal audio profile to optimize the sound quality of the headphones. Earphone nomenclature, PerL, embodies the mission to redefine the enjoyment of music: through an authentic personalized listening journey.
Hearing varies from person to person and can impact the listening experience. Both Denon PerL TWS models – Denon PerL Pro and Denon PerL – use proprietary Masimo technology to measure low otoacoustic emissions (OAE), produced by the inner ear in the presence of a range of tones played, to assess the each person’s unique response to sound. After the OAEs are analyzed to determine how sensitive a person’s ears are to each frequency, a personal hearing profile is created in the Denon PerL Headphone app, using artificial intelligence. This individualized profile delivers unparalleled depth, detail and clarity – perfectly tuned for your own hearing and enhanced by Denon’s crisp, spacious sound signature.
Another key benefit unique to Denon PerL Pro wireless headphones is the delivery of high-quality sound wirelessly. While standard Bluetooth® technology compresses and decompresses sound when transmitting wirelessly, the Denon PerL Pro wireless headphones offer a streaming experience similar to listening to a CD. Users can therefore enjoy high-fidelity streaming sources with excellent audio fidelity. PerL Pro also creates a surround sound effect that enhances the overall audio experience in a compact and comfortable wireless earphone design.
The Denon PerL Pro and PerL models both offer active noise cancellation and a more transparent social mode, allowing you to shut out the world or let it in. The PerL Pro is equipped with eight microphones (compared to four for the PerL) and an improved noise cancellation system, which automatically adjusts the level of cancellation according to the amount of background noise, surrounding sound and the tightness of the maintenance in the ears.
Denon PerL users will be able to elevate their personalization journey by viewing their unique profile through the Denon Headphones app for iOS and Android, with the ability to customize features such as Selective Noise Cancellation or Social Mode and touch controls on earpiece such as play/pause, track skip, volume change, and more.
