AFTER giving birth, many women experience various physical and emotional challenges. Olivia Allan, the wife of famous actor and presenter Denny Sumargo, is no exception.
After giving birth to their first child, Olivia experienced a condition common to many postpartum mothers, namely swelling in the feet.
This condition became public attention after Denny Sumargo shared a post regarding his wife’s condition via social media.
“Ci Oliv was confused as to why her legs became more swollen after giving birth,” said Denny Sumargo when met in the Jalan Jenderal Sudirman area, Central Jakarta on Saturday (10/8).
Because of this, Densu then consulted a doctor about the condition. Thankfully, according to the doctor, it was considered normal after a mother gave birth.
Even though these concerns have been resolved, the wife of actor and presenter Densu still feels insecure about her appearance.

According to Densu, his wife often asked about his appearance which was not like before, whether he was still attractive or not.
Of course, Densu responded well to this through laughter to calm his wife down.
Swelling of the feet or edema that occurs like Oliv’s is a condition that often occurs in mothers after giving birth. The main cause of this swelling is an increase in excessive fluid in the body.

The fluids in the body during pregnancy function to help the development of the fetus.
So the fluid must be removed from the body after giving birth, this process usually takes several days to weeks.
This is what causes swelling in several parts of the body.

In addition to swelling, the postpartum period is often a new and challenging path for a mother. The hormonal changes that occur are very likely to affect a mother’s emotions.
Like the case that happened to Ci Oliv who felt insecure about her body shape. This happened because there was a big possibility of an influence on the mother’s emotions.
Denny Sumargo, on various occasions, expressed his respect and support for his wife who is struggling through this recovery period.
