Dennis Rodman’s daughter soon to be international … football

As part of an internship organized at the end of January, Vlatko Andonovski, the coach of the United States women’s team, selected Trinity Rodman. A great hope for US football, the 19-year-old striker is none other than the daughter of Dennis Rodman, a sulphurous NBA star who won five titles including three with the Michael Jordan Bulls in 1996, 1997 and 1998.

Trinity Rodman plays with the Washington Spirit, club champion of the United States. In January 2021, she had become the youngest player recruited by a professional club. She grew up in California and revealed herself with the varsity team at UCLA. In 2021, she had decided to follow her older brother, DJ Rodman, who plays with the Washington varsity basketball team. Trinty has never played for the University of the Capitol since she was drafted before.

In 2020, she garnered attention with the United States U20 team by scoring 9 goals in the CONCACAF Tournament and then being nominated for the trophy of the best hope in US women’s football. She might honor her first selection in February, during the She Believes Cup. This annual competition is organized in the United States with this year the Czech Republic, New Zealand and Iceland.

Trinty is Dennis Rodman’s youngest daughter. Considered the best defenseman in NBA history, he finished seven seasons in a row as the league’s best rebounder (1992-1998), an unmatched record in the North American league. He was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2011.

But Rodman is equally known for his escapades off the pitch. Former lover of Madonna, Carmen Electra or Pamela Anderson, he has regularly shocked America. Thus since 2013, he has been making a series of trips to North Korea and declarations of friendship with the dictator Kim Jong-un, an absolute fan of the NBA. Addicted to casinos and alcohol, he is openly bisexual and supported Donald Trump during the 2016 campaign.
