Dennis Kelly’s play “The Way Back” wants to turn back progress – theater

There is no question that not all inventions have brought only good things. See atomic bomb, plastic products, genetic engineering and many others. So there are enough reasons to engage in a thought experiment that attempts to reverse progress. The British author Dennis Kelly did it on behalf of the Berliner Ensemble. In the piece The way back A civil society movement called Regression (it means something like regression or falling back) violently opposes all progressiveness and preaches: “Knowledge is torture. Ignorance is a blessing.” A somewhat simple motto for the desired socio-political change.
