Danish serum institute Confirmed the first case of monkeypox in the country. who are returning from the Spanish island of Gran Canaria The patient has mild symptoms and is under home quarantine.
The institute states that monkey pox is an infectious disease in humans and some animals. spread through close contact which patients may have fever, headache, muscle pain Swollen lymph nodes and fatigue. Monkey pox is usually mild and requires no hospitalization.
Magnus Heinike, Danish Minister of Health announced to the press that Danish health authorities do not expect a widespread outbreak. But they are monitoring the situation closely to prepare as much as possible.
The European Center for Disease Prevention and Control A total of 59 cases of monkeypox and at least 10 suspected cases were reported in the European Union (EU) and European Economic Area (EEA) member states on Sunday (May 22).

The institute urges people with a history of close skin contact with chickenpox patients to self-isolate, such as their partners or people living together. Vaccinations are offered at the Municipal Health Service (GGD) only to people at high risk of infection.
