Denise Nyakeru to the women of the UDPS: “I would like to see more than a hundred women apply for the electoral deadlines of 2023”

The First Lady made the trip to the headquarters of the UDPS located on 10th street in the municipality of Limitée as part of the commemoration of the month of Women to commune with the league of women of the party dear to Patriarch Etienne Tshisekedi.
The wife of the Head of State began by inviting the women of the UDPS to keep a minute of silence for the compatriots who are victims of the horrors of war in eastern DRC.
Denise NYAKERU TSHISEKEDI then reminded women that they must know their rights because they are a force and have potential that the country needs for its development.
To do this, she invited them to prepare for the 2023 elections not only as voters but also as candidates.

South African delegation came to Kinshasa as part of the preparations for the 2023 elections.

Speaking on this occasion, Bathabile Dlamni President of the Women’s League of the ANC (African National Congress) called on the women of the UDPS to fight once morest divisions and tribalism in the party.
Bathabile encouraged them to apply at all levels in order to occupy decision-making positions without expecting any favour.
She urged them to participate massively in the electoral process.

For his part, Augustin KABUYA Secretary General of the UDPS presented a diploma of honor to the Spouse of the Head of State while thanking her for having honored the wife of the UDPS. These women received presents from the hands of the first lady.
