Dengue fever in France: 26 indigenous cases reported since the beginning of the year – LINFO.re

A high number of cases of autochthonous dengue has been recorded in Metropolitan France since January. Faced with this situation, the health authorities call for vigilance.

A higher level compared to previous years

Since the beginning of this year 2022, health authorities have recorded an unusual number of cases of dengue native and Metropolitan France. Some 26 cases, compared to 13 last year, have been reported in the territory. The authorities had identified 2 cases in 2020 and 13 the following year.
