Demonstration in Brussels: here are the Stib and TEC lines which will not run this Tuesday

Due to a planned demonstration in the European district of Brussels, disruptions are expected on the Stib network on Tuesday. Several lines will however be operated, even if transport frequencies will be “slightly lower than usual”, specified the operator.

“Significant disruptions are expected on the Brussels public transport network, due to the participation of members of its staff in this action as well as the passage of the procession on the route of several of its lines,” warns the operator. The latter therefore advises users to favor alternatives to public transport.

Only metro lines 1 and 5 will be operated. Concerning the trams, lines 3, 4, 7, 8, 9, 18, 51 and 92 will run, assured the Stib. “Finally, in terms of buses, the following lines will be effective: 12, 36, 46, 50, 53, 56, 59, 71, 87 (extended to Étangs Noirs) and 95. In principle, other bus lines buses will be added tomorrow,” indicated the operator.

Brussels public transport frequencies will be slightly lower than usual. From 6:00 a.m., users will also be kept informed in real time of disruptions on the usual Stib channels (social networks, mobile application, at stops or by contacting 070-23.2000).
