Alkistis Alexandratou had said goodbye to Demi Georgiou with a heartbreaking post, while as it became known, the two of them had the opportunity to have a last “communication”, a few hours before the 39-year-old passed away, with her ex-wife watching her for the last time via video call, while she herself was intubated and with technical support in the intensive care unit.
In her new post now, Alcistis Alexandratou refers to the heavy loss she is experiencing, while also expressing a “complaint” about her absence from the last farewell to the 39-year-old chef, as she herself lives and works in London.
“Scattered thoughts. For you it left on Monday, for me it left 11/19/19. How hard it is to have to put the loss aside and suddenly return to everyday life. How hard the final parting. How hard it is for the people we love and adore us and don’t live with our loss in the same way they see us suffer.”
Demi Georgiou’s ex-wife wrote on her personal Instagram account.
“How hard does reality slap you? How much do we take for granted? What is it like to see the person you knew best in your life leave. In how many days will they forget her? Does anyone talk about what it’s like to lose someone you love and not be able to attend their funeral? Or is it better to think it’s a holiday and he’s mad at you?” she added.
