The parliamentary representative of the Socialist Group in the House of Representatives, Nahza Abakrim, demanded that the reasons and motives for excluding women who perform educational administration tasks (educational administrators) from joining their husbands, the educational administrators who perform educational administration tasks, be revealed.

In a written question addressed to the Minister of National Education, Preschool and Sports, Chakib Benmoussa, the parliamentarian stated that the principle of giving priority to wives joining their husbands is a fixed principle within the various ministerial memoranda organizing the transfer movement for the benefit of the various categories of executives working in the ministry.

In addition, Ministerial Correspondence No. 6015/1 issued on June 29, 2021 regarding the status of wives of educational administration staff, according to the parliamentary representative, stipulates the necessity of responding to requests for the husband’s joining of educational administration staff to the regional directorates in which their husbands work, given the great importance of the tasks entrusted to them in the stability of the education and training system within educational institutions, and in order to provide the necessary conditions for the educational administration body and motivate it to perform its duty as required and with the aim of achieving the desired social stability.

Despite all these considerations, Abakrim revealed that the process of wives joining their husbands who are educational administrators in the current reality is limited and restricted to wives from the teaching staff, while the rest of the bodies and categories are excluded and excluded, especially wives belonging to the same category, i.e. those who carry out educational administration tasks.
