Vienna/Paris/Dubai – According to IEA forecasts, global demand for oil and gas is expected to peak by 2030. That comes from one International Energy Agency (IEA) Special Report released on Thursday ahead of the COP28 climate summit in Dubai. Private oil and gas companies might therefore lose up to 60 percent in value. It is said to be a “moment of truth” for the sector.
