THE TREND in consumer demand for gift voucher services is currently very diverse and continues to grow in Indonesia. In order to be widely utilized, voucher providers are required to improve technology-based services and expand their partnership networks.

This challenge was answered by Pluxee by expanding its merchant network in Indonesia. This time, the global partner in the field of employee benefits and engagement collaborated with PT Matahari Putra Prima Tbk (MPPA) which houses Hypermart, Hyfresh Supermarket, Foodmart, Primo, and FMX.

“This big step is part of our efforts to continue the transformation of Pluxee Indonesia into a new identity launched late last year. With more than 18 years of experience, we are committed to continuously improving our services by expanding our merchant network and providing convenience and more choices for voucher users,” said Kiki Randall, Managing Director of Pluxee Indonesia Solutions.

Through this collaboration, Kiki added, Pluxee Gift and Pluxee eVoucher are expected to be accepted at 182 MPPA-owned convenience stores throughout Indonesia. This partnership significantly increases the number of merchants and stores connected to Pluxee. Specifically, the vouchers can be used at more than 800 merchants with more than 32,900 stores throughout Indonesia.

MPPA Chief Operating Officer Hendri Tadjuni added that this collaboration is an effort to expand the market in the future. The hope is that more Pluxee voucher users will shop at the company’s supermarket network. (Z-2)
