Demand for action to block sites, viewers of pornographic images and POCSO: Dissatisfied with police

Dissatisfaction within the police over arresting those watching child nudity and videos and filing POCSO cases.
The policemen themselves say that there is no logic in arresting and remanding those who get caught without bail following giving them an opportunity to view the government sites without blocking them.
Often forced to sue. Most of the people who watch such videos are decent people. After getting their information from the cyber dome, the house and office were searched. Most of the families will live in the country. The policemen who go to the raid say that they are all in a state of deep depression because of the shame of arresting a family member. The family will know when the police come to investigate. Two years ago there was an incident where a young man committed suicide once morest whom the Rammangalat police had registered a case.
Operation P Hunt Raid launched by Cyberdome to prevent viewing and dissemination of pornographic videos by children below the age of 18 years. Ten people were arrested in the raid that took place yesterday. 161 cases were registered. Those arrested range from IT professionals to students.
A family member is in jail as an accused in a POCSO case, which brings shame to all other innocent family members. The police are also reluctant to take action in this situation. Police say they are in a position to register a case as they have digital evidence. Cops say the only solution is to remove children’s porn sites from the Internet, just like blocking some online games.
Not only those who create pages, WhatsApp and Telegram accounts for this purpose in the new media, but also those who watch these are criminals. Most of those caught in the raid are bystanders. As raids have become widespread, there are experts who, following seeing the footage in WhatsApp and Telegram groups, delete it with the help of modern software.
Screened phones will be formatted every three days. However, most of those caught are unskilled. Viewing, collecting and distributing child pornography is punishable by imprisonment of up to five years and a fine of up to one million rupees.
